TKTX Cream – Usage & Storage Guide
Product Information
TKTX creams are topical products intended for external skin application before tattoo and body art sessions.
Different TKTX colours and percentage markings identify different product models and series. The 55% and 75% designations do not represent the concentration of active ingredients or a percentage measurement of product strength.
Individual results may vary depending on skin type, body area, application method, preparation time and other individual factors.
How to Use
1. Clean the skin
Wash the selected area thoroughly with soap and water and dry the skin completely.
2. Prepare the area
Make sure the skin is clean, dry and free from oils, creams or cosmetic products before application.
3. Apply the product
Apply an even, generous layer to the selected area according to the instructions provided with the product.
4. Allow preparation time
Follow the preparation time stated on the product packaging. Different models and individual skin characteristics may require different preparation times.
5. Remove before the session
Before beginning the tattoo or body art procedure, remove the remaining cream from the selected area.
For larger areas, preparation may be carried out in sections as the session progresses.
Typical Duration by Model
Typical duration differs between TKTX models:
- Black 75%: approximately 4–6 hours
- Gold 75%: approximately 4–6 hours
- Black 55%: approximately 3–4 hours
- Gold 55%: approximately 3–4 hours
These times are approximate and are not guaranteed. Individual results can vary depending on skin characteristics, application method, preparation time, body area and other factors.
Choosing a TKTX Model
Black 75% is a popular all-round option and is commonly selected by customers who are unsure which model to choose.
Gold 75% is generally selected for longer sessions because of its longer typical duration.
Black 55% and Gold 55% are commonly chosen for shorter or medium-length sessions.
Black and Gold represent different TKTX product series. One colour should not automatically be interpreted as stronger than another.
